Players #11: Post-Apocalypse
Players Season Two kicks off with a hopelessly out of date financial pun. Out of date on two counts. Both were relevant when Jack wrote this comic last year, honest!

Players #10: Better Left Unfez’d 4
After much delay, here it is - the anti-climactic conclusion to the “Better Left Unfez’d” saga. Don’t worry Marty fans (a.k.a. Marty and his mum), now that I know how to draw someone other than Jack and myself he is now our go-to third character.
Jack has been writing the scripts for some of the future Players strips, and I’m very excited. Our next story arc is going to be epic (literally), but we’ll be taking a break before starting it. In the mean time we’ve got plenty of one-off comics in the pipeline waiting to go.

Happy Christmas everybody, have fun, eat copious amounts of food and get hammered.

Players #8: Better Left Unfez’d 3
This was the first time I’ve drawn a comic out of order before - I drew panel 4 first as it was gonna be the toughest part. Turned out to be the most fun.
Also, that is not beer in Jack’s hand. It’s J20. Bottled fruit juice. Just wanted to put that out there.

Players #7: Better Left Unfez’d 2
Still failing to stick to a scheduled timeslot, but nonetheless, Players is back.
Note: The sofa has in fact grown since the last strip - I forgot to make the original large enough to accommodate all three of us (no fat joke intended).

Players #5: Maternal Kombat
Despite an extra week, it’s still a little late. Sorry. I’ve been busy with uni work, running the RGU Gaming Society, and attending job interviews.
This week’s comic is a direct transcript of a conversation Jack and I had a few weeks back. I’ve been told that Mrs. Yorston often reads these comics, so hopefully she approves.
From this point forth, Players will probably be posted every other week. We initially planned to run the comic on a fortnightly basis, but decided to hit the ground running until we couldn’t keep up. This should also give us time to update PS2P more frequently, as it’s been gathering a bit of dust lately.
Until next time, folks!

Apologies. When we started Players, I built up a healthy backlog of strips, so that I’d be ahead of the game. Unfortunately, the past couple of weeks have been a bit hectic. I found myself with one day to fire out a strip, whilst feeling completely burnt out. So rather than produce a half-assed strip, I threw together this depiction of how I feel.
Players will resume next Friday as normal.

Players #4: Coming This Fall…
In my defense, I was promised there would be fireworks. There were none. So, I decided to make my own.
After all, if you’re going to keep a giant, open pit full of Creepers in your backyard, and then invite someone over to see it, you’ve literally just dug your own grave.

Players #3: Pokéman
As you may have noticed during Jack’s mammoth Pokémon White review, he’s quite the fan. I, on the other hand, am not. The only Pokémon game I owned was Pokémon Snap for the Nintendo 64. Every time I played one of the “classic” games, I was just put off; I figured if I wanted to play an RPG, I’d play a more substantial one.
Don’t get me wrong - the TV show was awesome and I did collect the cards for a while, but I grew out of both. Unlike some people…
